Broadcom Wireless Network adapter in Vista

Freshly installed Boot Camped Vista on Macbook Pro notebook, cannot connect to the wireless network. Vista's device manager, recognizes the device as Broadcom 802.11n... but cannot the device is not installed properly.

Searching for the driver online takes you to the HP website. Don't bother looking for support at the Broadcom.com website.

  • Download sp38764.exe
  • Extract with winrar to a folder.
  • From Device Manager, uninstall the current wireless device, and scan for hardware change. When the device is recognized again, opt to "have disk" and point to the extracted files you downloaded. From the list of devices.
  • Select Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n.
  • Restart
